Previously, the game had just been referred to as “Guilty Gear” or “Guilty Gear 2020”, but we finally got an official name for the game, “Guilty Gear Strive” with the ‘IV’ in Strive standing out to make the roman numeral for 4. The naming convention makes sense considering that this is the fourth mainline entry in the Guilty Gear series, and previous titles also had very weird and interesting ways to snake numbers in their titles....

Based on the wordily titled nonfiction book Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare: How Churchill’s Secret Warriors Set Europe Ablaze and Gave Birth to Modern Black Ops by Damien Lewis (not Damian Lewis, the actor from Homeland), Ritchie’s movie will tell the story of England’s first black ops team, which operated during the Second World War. Paramount won the rights to the book in a bidding war back in 2015. Ivan Atkinson is attached as an executive producer, while Paramount executive Vanessa Joyce will oversee production on the studio’s behalf....
One of these missing features from the N64 Nintendo Switch Online version was support for the Controller Pak. For the uninitiated, the N64’s Controller Pak could be considered the console’s memory card. These were placed on the back of the game’s controller, which would allow players to save game data when some games weren’t saving directly to the cartridge. This was more common in older games released on the N64, with third-party games, such as WinBack Covert Operations, having a reliance on it....
This is all around a great thing for fans of the roguelite genre, as it means more people can experience what it is they love about these games. It’s also interesting to look at from different perspectives. To many gamers, the concept of a roguelite is something new that is worth exploring, but to long time fans of the genre there is something of a revival going on. She has many battle scars, as seen with her eyepatch along with an entire arm missing, although she has weapons hidden up her sleeve. Currently she’s absent from the playable roster in the latest entry and is a hotly requested DLC character for Guilty Gear Strive....
All of these updates were announced at ARCREVO 2021, a Fighting Game Tournament hosted by Arc System Works itself. One of these is the final character being added to Guilty Gear Strive’s Season Pass: the returning Testament. Testament has been a part of the franchise since the first game. They will be arriving later this month on the 28th for Season Pass holders and as a separate purchase on the 31st....

Police received a call about a shooter on the 9th floor of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Center City shortly after midnight, Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw told reporters. It wasn’t clear if the 55-year-old suspect was working at the hospital at the time, but he entered the building wearing scrubs, Outlaw said. Outlaw didn’t identify the suspect or the victim, a certified nursing assistant who was pronounced dead shortly after he was shot....
